Today I am writing about a very important call that Marianne
Williamson is doing JUST for our community
. I am privileged
and honored to bring the passionate message that Marianne
wants to share, TODAY JANUARY 14 at 4PM PACIFIC
/CALIFORNIA TIME.

This is a F*R*E*E call with Marianne that will add a new level
of understanding to what you may be looking for in your life
AND how to make a difference in the world.

==>  http://attendthisevent.com/?eventID=10767675

She will also be sharing about her upcoming Sister Giant event
taking place the last weekend in Feb
. This seminar/conference
speaks to the role of women at this pivotal moment in history.
It's a critically important time to transition from disastrous
probabilities to fantastic possibilities, and women can lead
the way.

If you are a woman who feels a prompting in your heart that
goes something like this: "Okay, it's time. I might not be
perfect, but I'm good enough. And I'm ready," then this
invitation is for you.

Marianne spoke passionately about this topic in her October
appearance on Healing With The Masters, what better way to
get you into the spirit of this upcoming call (scheduled for
Thursday) and the Sister Giant event but to offer an excerpt
from that interview...

FROM HEALING WITH THE MASTERS EXCERPT OCTOBER
15, 2009:

What I’ve written about in a couple of my books is this notion
that my generation, those of us who are baby boomers, when we
were growing up there was a sense starting really with JFK
that we could use politics as a container for our highest
aspirations and that we truly could take the best of what the
human being is and make a stamp on the planet and put the world
in a more beautiful and healed direction by being the best of
ourselves and politics could be one agent for doing this.

But what happened was JFK was killed in front of our eyes.
Bobby Kennedy was killed in front of our eyes.  Martin Luther
King was killed in front of our eyes.  The students at Kent
State were killed in front of our eyes.  And what happened was
that with those bullets came a very loud unspoken message in a
way those bullets psychically shot all of us.  And the bullet
carried a message which was there will be no further protest.
There will be no further effort to fundamentally change the world.
You go do in the private sector whatever you want.  But in the
public sector you leave it to those who obviously want control of
it so much they’re willing to kill to achieve that control.  And
we for many years did what we were told.

And so the most privileged educated and in many ways blessed
generations ever to walk this earth basically took all these
talents and these resources and we applied them to ultimately
meaningless ends.  And then what happened for the baby boomers is
I think once you get to the point where you start thinking about
your own death and your own mortality, because earlier you don’t
think you ever will die really, you begin to thin k about the
questions you will ask yourself on the last day of your life on
earth.  And I think that there was tremendous social impulse in
the idea for many of us that dying knowing that we had not really
done what we came here to do was actually scarier than the thought
of they might kill us if we do.

I think with 9/11 came the realization that there is something so
fundamentally flawed about how we are organizing human civilization
at this time.  And that flaw basically is that we organize human
civilization according to economic principle rather than humanitarian
principle.  As long as there is an economic bottom line rather than
a humanitarian bottom line, there will always be a necessary human
suffering among billions of people on the planet.  Because the poor
and our babies, our children, they have no economic leverage.  So
if economic leverage is p ower, if leverage of power is always defined
in economic terms, the poor and the hungry and the dispossessed and
the children will always be screwed because they have no leverage.
And I think that you get to a point where you’re in some way
acquiescing to a system that by its very nature ensures the
unnecessary suffering of so many people in the planet.  You feel
what Paul Hawking has called a blessed unrest.

This is a particularly pregnant moment for women because I think
that the archetype of function of the female it to take care of
the home and to take care of the children.  And what we’re
realizing is that the entire world is our home and every child on
this planet, those are our children.  So whether a woman has children
biologically is irrelevant.  Whether a woman is working in home or
outside the home is irrelevant.  The archetype of fun ction remains
the same. If you feel like you’re not going to get married, as I
didn’t, and you will just be inside the home, which I don’t think
is any better or worse  decision than going outside the home, the
point we’re realizing now is it’s the same job either way.  It’s
that the world is our home.  Whether it’s your house or your planet,
you’re in charge of the home.  Whether it’s your child or some child
on the other side of the world, these are all our babies.

And I think American women for many reasons, some having to do with
external forms of bondage and some having to do with internal forms
of bondage, had been quiet and are finally in a way that has never
been true before ready to speak up...

The only reason that American women feel disempowered is because
we’re not using our power.  &ld quo;I don’t feel empowered.”  Well, if
you step back and look at the power that we have, the power with
our votes, the power with our spending, the power with our voice.
And you’re right, there have been many ways in which the system,
and this continues to be true, the system really makes it very
difficult for an individual to participate in a very meaningful
way...

The little children if the world don’t have economic leverage.
And so it’s up to us as women to be a voice for such things.
So for people who are interested because there are answers from
Microcredit to global education funds to global anti hunger funds.
The truth of the matter is we do know what to do.  Educate the
children, educate the women and feed the babies.  It’s really
not like we don’t know what to do.  The issue is that we put our
resources, we’ll put hundreds of billions of dollars behind brute
force and then we’ll put a million here or a million there behind
soul force.  And if the women of America don’t stand up and say
this needs to change now.  Not that we’re angry.  Not that we’re
going to be mean about it.  But just standing up and saying we
feel it in our hearts, there is a fierce space to the divine
feminine.  When the American women truly stand up, this will
change.

Jennifer’s Question: I know so many people in my community are
questioning why they’re here.  “What the heck am I doing here?
What’s my purpose?”  In reference to what we have been discussing,
what is your response when you get those kinds of questions?

Marianne: Your life’s purpose is whatever you decide it to be.
If you are not extendin g yourself in love to other people, if
you are not giving life to others, whether it be friends or family
members.  People say, “What am I here for?”  And my next question
would be “Do you have an elderly parent that could use a call
from you today?”  Do you have a child that could use more attention
from you today?  Do you have a community that has people in trouble?
I mean the question bespeaks one who is living behind the term that
the Course in Miracles uses, it says you are like people living in
a very bright room covering your eyes and complaining that it’s
dark in here. I mean there are so many times in my life when my
eyes had been opened to all the need around me that I had ignored,
that I had not realized.  Here was a niece who could have used my
help.  Here was a sister who could have used my help.  Here was a
mother who could have used my help.  And I didn’t notice.  And
one of the things I went on and on about during those years when
I wasn’t noticing it was “I don’t feel my life has meaning.” Hello?
